from 1957’s Cookin’, one of four albums released from two (TWO!) recording sessions in 1956. Coltrane on sax, Red Garland on piano, Paul Chambers on bass and Philly Joe Jones on the drums. from the liner notes:

“This album is called Cookin’ at Miles’ request. He said, “After all, that’s what we did – came in and cooked.””
